- holistically optimized logistics processes
you will find us as a partner for logistics consulting with comprehensive expertise in end-to-end solutions and our own enthusiasm for ensuring your success.
The main topics we deal with are
- Organizational structure of logistics team and qualifications
- Plant layout
- Material flows and routes
- Areas for the provision of materials and manufactured products or other process areas
- Information flows and degree of digitalization - Resource optimization
- Software and hardware
- Storage systems, in particular economical automation solutions
- Industrial trucks and driverless transport systems
- Essential key figures for controlling logistics performance and the logistics service level
Our approach to process optimization:
1. actual process analysis
A detailed analysis of all logistics processes, including practical interviews with the responsible employees, is carried out during ongoing operations.
2. results of the process analysis
The identified potentials from the process analysis are presented by SCM PLUS in a structured manner with solution approaches and expert knowledge. Based on this, you receive suggestions for possible alternative courses of action.
3. evaluation of the potentials
Once the results have been presented and a preliminary action plan has been agreed, the individual steps are evaluated together with your project team and the costs are compared with the benefits for each potential. In the event of any individually required/desired additions, a re-evaluation is carried out. This is followed by prioritization and identification of the quick wins.
4. definition of measures - roadmap - presentation of results
The final action plan for implementing the optimizations is validated and then integrated into a roadmap.
We also create a detailed visualized presentation of the results from the process analysis with a summary in the Management Summary section.
5 Implementation of process optimizations
In order to successfully implement the measures from the process potential analysis, it is important to finally prioritize the measures, assign them to people and responsibilities, schedule them and set success milestones.
Proactive project management and transparent control of the implementation of the defined measures ensure the success of the implementation.
